Well, the snow is well on its way and hopefully March will come in like a lion and out like a lamb.  But, it was predicted in the Farmer's Almanac that this would be winter to remember and I believe it was, setting all kinds of records.  So, let's set our own records!  We have no major holidays (yes, I know the Irish do) and we have a long month, so let's get 10-15 pounds (yes, you can do it) off for March.  I find keeping a lot of grapes around really help as they are finger food and fewer calories and you can have unlimited fruit.  I just bought 4 packages for myself for just yesterday and today!  I know I will eat them and they really help with that hand to mouth action that we get in the habit of doing.  Another thing I did this was make a huge omette with vegetables, but it was big enough to last me 4 servings.  So, for 4 mornings I had my meals ready.  Then, a protein shake later on in the morning.  The key is to still be on top of things and have them in your refridge or cupboards.  Planning is the most important.  I have turkey and chicken in packages and the "Very, very thin Peppridge Farm Bread" just in case a sandwich is really calling me.  It's only one bread. (No, you can't have 2).  Then, I have salmon and some other fish in the freezer which I can throw in the oven for 20 minutes.  These are just a few ideas I did this weekend to pull me through and yes, I lost weight.  Now, you do it!
