I’m in love.

EduLink has made me one happy lady. I put in my Act 48 hours for the last few months, it took me no time and no errors!  So easy, it's only 4 and I'm finished for the day, how exciting is this!

Act Now!

"Beginning July 1, 2000, Act 48 of 1999 required persons holding Pennsylvania professional educator
certification to complete continuing education requirements every five years in order to maintain their
certificates as active. All educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification including Instructional
I and II, Educational Specialist I and II, Administrative, Supervisory, Letters of Eligibility and all vocational
certificates. Also included are non-certified teachers and administrators employed by charter schools.

Educators must maintain their certificates as active by earning six collegiate credits or six PDE-approved
in-service credits or 180 continuing education hours or any combination of the above every five calendar
years. Each collegiate credit is equal to 30 continuing education hours. All credits and hours must be
related to an educator’s certificate type or area of assignment, unless enrolled in an administrative
program or approved by the school board." [Source: PA Department of Education]

With the passing of Act 48, schools in Pennsylvania were faced
with the task of recording tracking and managing continuing
education hours for each employee. School administrators
in Pennsylvania joined together with EduLink to create
solutions for credit management.

Act48 Credit Keeper is a secure, web-based data-management system that tracks, manages,
and reports continuing education credits/hours of certified educators and paraeducators in
Pennsylvania.  Act 48 Credit Keeper enables a school district and the employees of that school
district to record and submit all continuing education hours to the Pennsylvania Department of
Education.  Data is seamlessly transferred directly to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Endless hours of data entry by personnel departments are now reduced to minutes!

Act48 Hours is a secure web-based data-management system that is tailored to the unique
needs of colleges, universities and other providers of continuing education credits/hours. This
website allows professional educators to request the submission of Act 48 hours/credits to the
PA Department of Education Records Management Site.
